Today we’re reviewing the all-new Skoda Kushaq Facelift the updated mid-size SUV from Skoda India that’s loaded with new design changes, features, comfort upgrades and improved tech. After its launch in early 2026 with production now underway, this SUV aims to up the game against rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

The Kushaq a sharper, premium look. Up front, you get a redesigned grille with chrome accents and a new LED signature DRL that beautifully frames the headlights. The bumper is sportier with a honeycomb pattern and a redesigned skid plate
From the side, new 17-inch alloy wheels and chunkier black cladding give it a bolder stance. At the rear is one of the highlights connected LED tail lamps with illuminated ’SKODA’ lettering, making the SUV look wider and more modern.”

Interior Comfort & Premium Feel
Premium dual-tone colour themes, new upholstery and softer materials. The dashboard now features a large 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Google AI Companion all intuitive and responsive.
Front seats are now 6-way electrically adjustable with ventilation, adding to comfort during hot weather drives. Segment-first feature alert: rear seat massage function a rare offering in this class. Other comforts include a wireless charging pad, cruise control, electric sunroof standard and panoramic sunroof on higher trims.
Tech & Connectivity
The Kushaq facelift gets one of the most advanced in-car experiences in its class. With Google-powered AI voice assistant, you can use natural voice commands to control navigation, media and phone functions. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard
Engine & Performance
Under the hood, nothing radically new but important improvements where it matters. The SUV retains the reliable 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine (≈114–115 PS, 178 Nm) and the 1.5-litre TSI engine (≈147–150 PS, 250 Nm)
For the 1.0-litre engine, Skoda has introduced a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox delivering smoother shifts and better fuel efficiency compared to the older 6-speed unit. The 1.5-litre retains the proven 7-speed DSG automatic

Safety Top Priority
Safety continues to be a strong suit for the Kushaq facelift. It retains its 5-star Global NCAP rating and now comes with six airbags as standard across the lineup.
Standard safety tech includes ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, TPMS, ISOFIX, front parking sensors, and more putting it among the safest in the segment.
